Glen Ellen: Visiting the surroundings, vineyards, tasting wines, buying a
bottle of Merlot. Driving in the hills over a curvy street directly to Napa
Valley. Stop on the St. Helena Exxon: 8 Gallons for 15$! Driving to Beringer
Vineyards in St. Helena with the famous Rhine House built in 1884. Driving
to Rutherford
Hill to the big and impressive winery building on the right
valleyside hills. Driving to Robert
Mondavi, world famous winery in St. Helena. Driving down
to Napa to find a Motel, bying food (10$), back to Yountville to check in
at the Napa
Valley Lodge for a night for 198$ (I fool: I used the housebar...)!!!

Desperatly searching for a cheaper motel: By the tourist info the cheapest
is a poor room for 110$! I get "crazy" for this and decided to travel
away. To my luck i look on the map and wanted to drive to the coast. I got
out in the north of Napa valley, crossing Santa Rosa and following a beautiful
river down to the coast.
The cliffs and beachs are mystical and amazed me: WONDERFUL! Finally i found
a really tiny motel in the Bodega Bay: Bodega
Harbor Inn a night for 60$. Driving arround: Tides Gift Shop Postcards
and food (5$). Eating at a nice Restaurant in the bay. Buying some stuff (3$)
before going to sleep.

Check out. Driving back to San Francisco (troubles with the street). Eating
at a Restaurant on Fishermans Wharf. Fueling the car at Brentwood Serv Station
and giving back the Rental car. Drived to the airport by the friendly egyptian.
Check in to far and waiting for the NY fly. Eating at the airport Pizza Hut
(8$). Flyin wirh UA-plane to NY.

In New York early in the morning (before 7AM). Some time at the airport for
cash withdrawal & other. Finally driving in the city with the cheap Airport
Shuttle Service (13$). By feet trough Manhattan: visiting the Central
Park and his squirrels. Down to Times
Square, eating and speaking "Sicilian Italian" in
the Taormina
Restaurant in Mulberry St., Little Italy. Going back to Empire
State Building, Churchs, Little Parks and Central Station
to pick up the Shuttle Bus to the JFK airport. The traffic was heavy and i
feared to loose my plane; luckily I came just in time to picking up my nice
Austrian Airlines Airbus and flying to Vienna.
